How to Make Your Own Blog Button

So the title of this is How To Make Your Own Blog Button.

Alternatively it could have been titled:

How To Create a Blog Header

Or

How To Create a Facebook Timeline Header

Or

How To Create A Twitter Header

Or

Five Easy Steps to Being Awesome

This is kind of a catch-all tutorial.
Once you know the basics, you pretty much can do it all! Just resize your images, and the world will be at your fingertips!

I used PicMonkey.com because it's free(mostly, you absolutely do not need to pay for any of what I'll be using today) it's super easy, and extremely customizable!

I recommend after following this tutorial you sit down and just play!

Step One: Go to PicMonkey.com and select Edit a Photo

Now, anytime you create a button/header, ect you want to start with a high resolution white image.
I have been using the same one for about 6 months and it is below for you to save for yourself! For sizing reference, it is an 8x10.

Step Two: Resize your image. I create a new button for any ads I run, one for uniqueness(I try to target the blog readership I advertise on) and two because most blogs have different sizes! This is done in pixels, I resized my image to 200x200

*Extra Tip: If you select "Crop" it has size selections such as Facebook Timeline or 4x4 or 5x7 ect.

Step 3: Follow the directions I placed on the image below ;)

Step 4: Add Font! The more you play on this site, the more comfortable you'll be at adding little extras like banners, labels, flowers, ect.

Step 5: Size your font to fit your new button, and play with the colors until you like what you see!

Yes! It really is THAT easy!

You're just 5 quick steps away from making your blog even more creative!

Use any of these tips to add text to a photo, a collage, or even just a blog title!

Have fun!

Oh, and, if you ever want to have one of those boxes that says: "Grab My Button!"
Go HERE you'll just need to use a photo host site such as PhotoBucket.com.
