What I'm Eating Wednesday Gluten Free Style - And KRISTA!

Hi-Dee Ho There Neighbor(name that TV show-bonus if you get the character right too)

I'm playing around with my posting times. See what the afternoon/evening crowd is up to.

So on today's edition of:

What I'm Eating Wednesday-Gluten Free Style

I thought I would take you through a regular day of eating for me.
Everyday Gluten Free Menu, if you will.

So often someone asks, Okay, but what do you eat?

Air. Sunshine. Tweets on Twitter.

Wait, you say that's not possible? People live on sunshine all the time.

Okay Okay...

Breakfast

Ahem. I don't like breakfast. Or any food before 10:30am for that matter.
So my "real" breakfast is:
Large coffee
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
A Pouring of CoffeeMate Creamer(Fun Fact: Coffee Mate Creamer is lactose free and gluten free - YAY!)
* Occasionally  I'll bring a banana to work in the morning

Lunch

I used to loooove lunch. I like sandwiches, soups, pastas, pizzas, you name it, lunch is my meal!
Except, you know, I can't eat any of that anymore.
So, depending on the week and my general mood I'll have one of the following:
-1/2 cup of white rice with a tablespoon of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter(Gluten Free!)
-Can of Progresso Wild Rice Chicken Soup
-Some kind of Gluten Free Cereal and Rice Milk
-French Fries from McDonalds(The potatoes are Gluten Free, although the argument that the oil the potatoes are fried in is not gluten free has been put forth, however, I like french fries and I haven't noticed any issues from it)

Dull Dull Dull.

Dinner
-Gluten Free Pasta
-Steamed Broccoli/Corn/Potatoes
-Baked Chicken/Pork Chops(really any kind of unprocessed meat)
-Rice
-Tacos on Corn Tortillas

Snacks
-Fritos Chips
-Lara Bars
-Any kind of fruit

That's about all I eat! It's not overly interesting, but I have a lot of chicken recipes and potato recipes!

Seriously though, gluten free or not, you should try Lara Bars. They taste like whatever the label says!
Banana Bread? It really does taste like Banana Bread!

And they are a good calorie content too at about 150-250 calories.

I have a hard time breaking 1600 calories per day so these help a lot!
And they are yummmmy.

Now, I'd like to introduce you to Krista!
I met Krista...through a blog comment? Twitter? Bigs & Littles Blogging Network?
It doesn't matter. She's fab either way.
And she drinks wine.
'nuff said.

Hi everyone! I’m Krista and I blog over at Life Somewhere in the Middle.

Why the middle you ask? Well, to the left or right just isn’t as fun. Plus, then you might get all the
political mumbo jumbo you do not want. So middle it is.

If you do so happen to stop on by my blog (which you should, I heard all the cool bloggers are doing it)
here is a lot of what you will find:

A super awesome fiancé (I get brownie points for that one)

And that leads into wedding planning craziness…oh and it’s craziness all right

Wine. And more wine.

Carrie Underwood, I’d say just a SLIGHT obsession I swear

Celebrity gossip. E Network anyone?

And any other craziness life throws my way!

Hope to see you real soon, y’all! (Did I mention I want to move to Texas?)
