I Can't Handle Winter. Obviously.

Friday, December 6

^^So true. I handle these three things in this way: 1. Download new book on Nook, climb back in bed with coffee. 2. Go shopping. 3. That would never happen, i roll my lights at the end of the year because I'm OCD and annoying. How do you handle it?

It's Friday.
It's freezing.
End of story.

Just kidding.
Word of the street is we will have snow this weekend. Which in my book, makes freezing temperatures acceptable. It's 15 degrees outside and the "real feel" is 3 degrees. Maybe if it snows the temperature will go up to 20 degrees. One can only hope.

I've had the hiccups off and on for the last few hours. This has to be what Tourette's feels like, I'm sure of it.

The Walking Dead had their mid-season finale on Monday and it's not okay that it won't be back until February. Maybe by then the zombies will start decomposing more. That's probably the one part of Walking Dead that drives me bat shit crazy. If these were NORMAL dead bodies, they would have fully decomposed months ago! Grr.
In brighter news, House of Cards(please tell me you're watching this show on Netflix???!) is returning for it's second season ON MY BIRTHDAY. If that's not the best birthday present, I don't know what is.

Ok. I'm off to catch up on Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and hopefully defrost my fingers and toes.
Winter is brutal ya'll.

  2. Hiccups are so, so annoying. And I'm not really known for handling the troubles of winter with a whole lot of grace. I don't really enjoy being cold.

    1. That's such a sweet way to put it. "I'm not really known for handling the troubles of winter with a whole lot of grace" <--- that is what I'm going to start saying. It's so much nicer than: "No. It's f-ing cold and I ain't going out there."

  3. It is way too entirely cold outside. I live in Illinois and I don't know how anyone else in colder states can even brave chillier temps, I am MISERABLE as it is. Makes me want to move to somewhere warm all year round so I can actually feel like a functioning human outside, lol!

    1. YES! As a former California, when the high stays below 20 degrees for more than a week, I always always ask, why did we move to Kansas again? Why not Florida? What. Were. We. THINKING.
